Memorial held for boy who wished to be famous in China

WESTERLY, R.I. - The parents of an 8-year-old Rhode Island boy whose dying wish was to become famous in China say they're proud his story echoed around the world.A memorial service was held Sunday in Westerly to honor Dorian Murray, who died earlier this month after battling a rare form of pediatric cancer. Flameless candles were illuminated, and a singer performed a song she wrote for Dorian.The Westerly boy's final wish in January to be famous in China took off on social media with the hashtag #DStrong. People around the world including celebrities such as Justin Bieber and Conan O'Brien sent him well wishes.Dorian's parents say they'll continue to spread the #DStrong message.Dorian's mother and father say the turnout shows how many people were inspired by their son.
